Unicorn Children’s Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, has launched its “I Am…” campaign that features individuals with ALL abilities. The goal of this program is to change the world’s perception of individuals diagnosed with special needs, and bring light to the fact that we are not defined by labels. We want the world to begin focusing on each individual’s strengths and interests rather than their diagnosis and challenges.
Some examples: "They say I would never speak, I say I am a singer." "They say I would never get a job, I say I am the Employee of the Month!" “They say I am autistic. I say, I am an artist.” “They say I am ADHD. I say, I am an amazing fashion designer.” “They say I am Asperger’s. I say, I am super talented in designing web applications.” “They say I am Dyslexic. I say, I am an entrepreneur who has launched a global business.” "They say I am neurotypical. I say, I am a teacher."
The possibilities are endless! Please share with us your special skills, hobbies, and successes and you may be featured by Unicorn Children’s Foundation.
Just think, your ability to overcome adversity may be an inspiration to others who have experienced similar challenges. We invite you to submit your registration form for this important project.
“The possibilities in life are only constrained by our own imaginations.”
