This fun filled dance class works on improving motor skills, confidence, and socialization. Dance can also be a unique and effective way to reach students with special needs because it can be nonverbal. This class will allow students to gain balance between the two halves of the body, express emotion, and gain muscle control. Through simple patterns, sequencing, and repetition, students will learn the basics of movement, rhythm, and jazz dance. Some creative movement and yoga are incorporated into class, too. 

 

All ages welcome.


Currently, the CDC recommends masking indoors due to increased cases, positivity rates, and high community risk levels of COVID-19 in Palm Beach County. Therefore, we have reinstated our mandatory mask policy. Masks are required for everyone entering the Unicorn Connection Center. We will continue to host small group sizes during programs to ensure adequate social distancing and maintain ventilation in program rooms and throughout the Center.
