Phillip DiPonio has been working in hotels for 24 years, starting off as a desk agent and currently the General Manager of the Award-Winning Wyndham Hotel, Boca Raton. He was awarded the Boca Raton Chamber’s “Person of the Year” in 2018. He learned to play the bass guitar, joined a band and competed in the inaugural “Battle of the Bands” benefiting the Golden Bell Education Foundation. He has served as a Board member for the YMCA since 2019. Phillip has been a volunteer for Unicorn Children’s Foundation for 2 years. He co-chaired our 2019 Unicorn Ball: Get Down with Motown. Whether it was negotiating contracts, getting sponsorships, or securing auction items, Phillip went above and beyond to do whatever he can. He has donated space in the Wyndham Hotel, Boca Raton for many committee meetings. There is no favor too big or too small! Phillip always makes sure to take time out of his busy schedule to participate in any event we have. His positive attitude lights up a room and always motivates our committee. Phillip’s continuous support has changed the lives of so many, including the individual with special needs that he hired!
