Unicorn’s 10th Anniversary Gala Raises One Million (March 11, 2008)
Boca Raton, FL – March 11, 2008 – Laura Moore, 2008 Gala Chair, has announced that the Unicorn Children’s Foundation’s 10th Anniversary Gala raised nearly $1,000,000 during the March 7 event. “It is my distinct pleasure to announce that The Unicorn Children’s Foundation achieved its goal of raising $1,000,000 at our 10thAnniversary Gala. We are so appreciative of the nearly 500 individuals who attended the Key to the Golden Palace at Palm Beach’s most exclusive private club, and participated in the silent and live auctions”, said Ms. Moore. Master of Ceremony Jesse Dylan, a talk show host on Sirius Radio, conducted the live auction which included: a 1963 Silver Cloud III Rolls Royce; a stunning South Seas Pearl Necklace from Ellagem; a luxurious vacation in Cabo from Cabo Travel Advisors; an elegant Diamond Necklace from Rosenberg Diamonds & Co.; a ride on the Spirit of Innovation Goodyear Blimp; and a One-Day Space Launch Experience from NASTAR. Gala attendees also placed bids on more than 100 Silent Auction packages during the evening that included items ranging from stunning art to designer ball gowns, from travel packages to striking jewelry for men and women. Proceeds will benefit the Unicorn Children’s Foundation, an international organization dedicated to education, research and awareness of children’s neurodevelopmental and communication disorders.
