​Unicorn Hosts Fantasy Cruise (January 28, 2008)

​Boca Raton, FL – January 28, 2008 –  Members of The Unicorn Children's Foundation (UCF) enjoyed an elegant evening aboard the Carrousel Yacht on January 17th.  This evening was generously donated by Beatrice Clancy and was used to help the foundation acquire distinctive items which will be auctioned at their upcoming 10th Anniversary Gala Celebration.  The “Key to the Golden Palace” will be held on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Palm Beach’s legendary Mar-a-Lago Club.   
UCF is an international nonprofit organization which is headquartered in South Florida working on behalf of children with learning and communication challenges, such as autism, ADHD, Aspergers, dyslexia, etc..  This year’s Gala will honor Unicorn Grand Ambassadors Mike and Valeria Rosenbloom for their extraordinary leadership and generous long term support of the organization.   Grand Honorary Host for the evening will be Mr. Donald J. Trump.  The event which will include dinner, dancing, live and silent auction, raffle, and special entertainment will delight guests.  More information is available at www.unicornchildrensfoundation.org.
Guests on the cruise were provided with an opportunity to pre-bid on the spectacular live auction items as they cruised along scenicMiami Beach.  The live auction items include: 1963 Silver Cloud III Rolls Royce formerly owned by Rex Harrison, South Sea Pearl Necklace with diamond clasp worth $35,000 from internationally renown “pearl queen” Ella Gafter of Ellagem, Vacation in Cabo San Lucas in a 4 bedroom luxurious estate, diamond and sapphire necklace worth $40,000 by Rosenberg Diamonds & Co., one day space launch experience with NASTAR, and rides on the Goodyear blimp.  Viewing and pre-bidding of these items are open to the public on the foundation’s website.
More than 50 supporters were on hand to donate items in support of this milestone event, including: Gala Chair Laura Moore, Gala Grand Dame Jeannette Stark, Gala Co-Chair Ibe May, UCF Co-Presidents Juliette Ezagui and Valeria Rosenbloom, Valerie Austin, Ambassador Javier and Claudia Baz, Emily Damiano, Jean Dolan, Yvonne and Charles Eldredge, Joanne Gabay, Lorna Heisler, Madeline and Herbert Hillsberg, Joyce Hine, Phyllis Inglehart, Patricia and Allen Kaufman, Marty and Joyce Kobak, Lynda and Leonard Levitsky, Chick May, Greg Olsen, Pat Riley, David and Jamie Rosenberg, Lady Blanka Rosenstiel, Cynthia Russel, Richard and Virginia Sembello, Louise Stahly, and Marge and Frank Vukovich.
