​Business Champion of the Year

Birth to 22: United for Brighter Futures is an alliance of community partners who are working together to support the healthy growth, development and education of our children and youth, prenatal through young adulthood, so that they can graduate from high school and succeed in life.  We are excited to announce our Business Champion Awards which will be presented at our 3rd Annual Birth to 22 Business Breakfast, Cradle to Career: Preparing for Tomorrow…Today, which will be held on September 18, 2020 at the Hilton Palm Beach Airport.  We invite members of the community to nominate for-profit businesses whose support has helped to improve child and youth outcomes which include: 
 
  • Born Healthy
  • Attached to Caregivers
  • Developmentally on Track
  • Ready for School
  • Healthy and Active
  • Meeting Educational Standards
  • Behaving Prosocially
  • Connected and Contributing
  • Career Ready
  • Graduating and in the Workforce
 
Community members may nominate in the following categories:
  • Small Business Champion of the Year (less than 100 employees)
  • Mid-Sized Business Champion of the Year (100-999 employees)
  • Corporate Business Champion of the Year (more than 1,000 employees).​

Criteria & Instructions
Nominations must be received by 5:00 pm on August 1, 2020. Please send completed nomination form to:  info@unicornchildrensfoundation.org or by completing an electronic version at http://bit.ly/2Sl2Xxp.
 
Business must be a for-profit organization that regularly advocates, provides resources and opportunities or funding to support the overall mission of Birth to 22. Businesses may self-nominate or be nominated by others.
 
Application instructions and required attachments
  • The cover page and all questions for the appropriate award category must be completed in full.
  • Please answer each question fully, but succinctly. 
  • The answer portion of the application may not exceed 2 pages and no less than an 11pt font.
  • Really tell the story and share the passion of why this business should be awarded. 
  • Our panel of judges will score nominations based solely on information provided in the nomination application package. 
  • Please send your logo with your application in 300dpi jpeg format.
