In celebration of our 25th Anniversary, The Unicorn Children’s Foundation is excited to announce the 2019 Community Inclusion Awards! This will be the largest celebration of people with special needs and those who provide services and supports to enrich their lives. Awards for 15 categories will be presented at a special ceremony and luncheon beginning at 11:30 am at Boca West Country Club on Friday, November 22, 2019. We can't wait to celebrate the actions and impact being made in by local leaders, service providers and advocates.
Three finalists will be selected in each category by a panel of judges. An organization/individual will only be named a finalist in one category. Finalists will be revealed at a VIP Announcement Party on October 24, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort. All of the finalists will receive publicity via press releases and social media activity. All nominees will be eligible for the Community Choice Award. Community Choice Award recipient will be determined by on-line voting following the VIP Announcement Party through November 15, 2019.

This award honors an individual/organization that embodies excellence, integrity and passion in providing support/services to the special needs community. Examples of Service Professionals are: OT, SLP, BCBA, PT. A direct support professional provides services to individuals with special needs that allow them to integrate with their local community so they may lead a self-directed life and contribute to the community, assists with activities of daily living if needed, and encourages attitudes and behaviors that enhance community inclusion.
