Unicorn Children’s Foundation Inducts New Visionary Society Member and Plans for Next Season (April 19, 2016)
Boca Raton FL – April 2016 – Unicorn Children’s Foundation hosted a tour and luncheon at the Wick Theater and Costume Museum to celebrate the successes of the 2015-2016 season and to begin making plans for our next season of exciting events! The function proved to be one of excitement and fulfillment as some of our foundation’s most influential and experienced minds gathered together to share their ideas and pledge their support to raise funds to help individuals’ with special needs live a life worth living.
The day began with the induction of Gale Wechsler into Unicorn’s Visionary Society, which is a special group of women who go above and beyond in philanthropically supporting our foundation. Gale has not only met the fiscal requirement to join this group, but more importantly has demonstrated understanding of and commitment to our vision, and a desire to help better the special needs communities in which we live and serve. President Gregory Fried, along with current Visionary Society members Michelle Yellin, Angela Fisher, and Silvana Halperin, presented the newest inductee with an 18k gold unicorn pin with diamond encrusted eye designed exclusively for Unicorn Children’s Foundation by Kaufmann de Suisse.
Several events are being planned for the 2016-2017 Season, including:
The Bartenders Battle, featuring celebrity teams of Bartenders serving drinks and competing to claim the most votes, September 16th, Farmers Table (Boca)
An Evening at The Birdcage, an event with a new twist that is designed to drag out acceptance of special needs and neurodiversity, Ft. Lauderdale
The ‘Mad Hatters Luncheon’ at the exclusive Indian Creek Country Club, Miami
The Unicorn Ball, with an encore performance by the acclaimed and much sought after speed artist Michael Israel, March 11th, Boca West Country Club
