Reigning champions defend title at the Unicorn Children’s Foundation’s Celebrity Bartending Battle! (September 18, 2015)
Boca Raton FL – September 18, 2015 – The Unicorn Children’s Foundation is pleased to announce that our 2nd Annual Raise Awareness, Raise a Glass Bartending Battle, sponsored by Farmer’s Table, was a complete success! Overall, the Unicorn Children’s Foundation collected over $29,000 to help kids with special needs excel in the community.
This year, reigning champions Team Bill Kruegel & Sarah Hassan faced off against Team Evan Golden & Constance Josanu, Team Gregory Fried & Felette Branch, and Team Angela Fisher & Silvana Halperin. Competition was fierce, with all teams bringing their A-game and the bars amazingly decorated to showcase its team’s theme. The Event Center at Farmers Table was the perfect venue for this event, and really helped promote a sense of luxury while maintaining an intimate and personable setting for the roughly 150 guests who attended.
Despite great effort by the other teams, once again this year Team Bill Kruegel & Sarah Hassan took first place with a whopping 12,823 votes. Team Gregory Fried & Felette Branch won second place with 4,080 votes, Team Angela Fisher & Silvana Halperin 3rd place with 2,130 votes, and Team Evan Golden & Constance Josanu 4thwith 1,106 votes. Everyone at the Unicorn Children’s Foundation extends our congratulations not only to our reigning champions but also the other teams – thank you for your part in making this a success!
Neurodiversity refers to the idea that people experience the world differently based on their neurological attributes. It is most commonly applied to people with autism, ADHD, Bipolar, Asperger’s Dyslexia and other learning differences. The neurodiversity framework allows us to acknowledge, celebrate, and integrate the special qualities of all people.
A big THANK YOU to the cross-section of South Florida’s community leaders, business professionals, and philanthropists who participated in and supported this event, and who made it a success! We also would not have been able to do this without the support of our sponsors: Farmers Table, Sunshine Health, Simply the Best Magazine, and Eye on South Florida.
