Unicorn Children's Foundation Announces 2010-2011 Executive Board (September 13, 2010)
Boca Raton, FL — September 13, 2010 – Unicorn Children’s Foundation is proud to announce the election of its leadership team for the 2010-2011 fiscal year. President Dr. Rafael Cabrera, Vice-President Juliette Ezagui, Treasurer Valeria Rosenbloom, Corresponding Secretary Lori Cabrera, and Recording Secretary Joanne Gabay have been selected to lead Unicorn Children’s Foundation 2010-2011 Board of Directors. “As we embark on our second decade improving the lives of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, we look forward to some very ambitious and far-reaching projects,” shared President Rafael Cabrera. “We are truly fortunate to have the support and knowledge of many here in our South Florida Community and abroad.” Unicorn Children’s Foundation supports programs and services in the tri-county South Florida area as well as some international efforts. Highlights of these projects include: promoting early identification of symptoms associated with autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD, bipolar, dyslexia, or other learning disorders through our expanding freeMobile Community Developmental Clinic Program; supporting programs designed to develop and disseminate evaluation and treatment guidelines through Unicorn sponsored programs at major universities; creating an Alliance of Special Needs Service Providers and Organizations to foster communication and collaboration across disciplines so that the gaps in services and programs in our community can be more readily identified; and educating parents and professionals through educational programs to ensure the availability of adequate tools and resources Vice-President Juliette Ezagui explains, “We have a very exciting schedule of events planned this upcoming year that are greatly needed to bring our future programs of helping these children and young adults to enable them to live a better life.” Make sure to stay tuned for Unicorn Children’s Foundation’s upcoming events… The Best Is Yet To Come!
