Why did you decide to get involved with Unicorn Children’s Foundation?

I have always been involved in charities in my native Montreal and when I moved to Boca Raton, I was invited by the founder Dr. Mark Rosenbloom along with Valeria Rosenbloom to start this charity.


What part of Unicorn Children’s Foundation do you get most excited about?

I get very excited to fundraise for the amazing programs that we do. Our next project is our most ambitious, founding the Unicorn Village Academy.

 

How would you describe yourself?

Very motivated.

 

What is the most important thing you have learned over the years?

In fundraising, I learnt that you have to be a team player. Some of my dearest friends have come from joining a charity and working together.

 

Do you have a motto, or some words of wisdom, that has guided you through your life? 

Always be happy with what you have as you never know what life will bring you.

 

What is something your parents taught you that you will never forget?

I will always be grateful to my parents for teaching me CONFIDENCE: One of the greatest gifts in life.

 

How do you stay so motivated and committed?

I like what I do.

 

Who is the most interesting person you have ever met?

The Dalai Lama

 

What are your favorite leisure time activities or hobbies? 

Antiquing

 

How do we get our young people more interested in charitable giving and community volunteering?

Start them off very young. Children love to imitate their parents.
