Unicorn To Hold First Annual Golf Tournament (July 15, 2008)
Boca Raton, FL – July 15, 2008 – The Unicorn Children’s Foundation (UCF) will be hosting its Inaugural Pro-Am Golf Tournament at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach on January 26, 2009. Chairing the Golf Tournament is Elisabeth Dalfen, of Boca Raton, Carbondale, CO., and Montreal, Canada; and Michelle Yellin, of Boca Raton and Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Dalfen stated that “Both tournament participants and non-playing patrons will be able to enjoy a kick-off event at Trump International Golf Club on Friday, January 23rd. We will be hosting a Country Western Barbecue complete with country music, fabulous food, and a team auction where patrons can bid on the team they think will win the tournament – and possibly win money themselves! Golfers will then tee off the following Monday afternoon, January 26, for the experience of a lifetime playing 18 holes on the extraordinary course at Trump International.”
“Mrs. Dalfen and Mrs. Yellin bring marvelous golf experience to this new Unicorn event, and are planning this Inaugural Pro-Am Golf Tournament so as to give many of our patrons a first class experience at this prestigious course”, according to UCF Co-President Juliette Ezagui.
“Although we are known throughout South Florida for our spectacular Galas, we are thrilled to be introducing three diverse, exciting events this year which we believe will appeal to a more broad-based array of patrons and supporters,” stated Juliette Ezagui, Co-President of the UCF. “Our other events include The Fabulous You, an evening under the stars at the exclusive Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach on December 5, 2008 and a Disco Glam Weekend in South Beach, February 27-March 1, 2009.”
For more information on tournament registration, golfers may contact the Unicorn Children’s Foundation at (561) 620-9377, or go to the website, www.unicornchildrensfoundation.org.
Proceeds from the event will help the UCF continue its education, awareness and research initiatives on behalf of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism, Asperger’s, ADD and dyslexia. The Unicorn Children’s Foundation was founded in 1995 by Dr. Mark Rosenbloom.
